DESCRIPTION:\n\nOn Monday 22nd June\, a one-day introductory workshop wil
 l be held in Lund by LINXS (Lund Institute of Advanced Neutron and X-ray 
 Science) in conjunction with SXNS16. The workshop is aimed at students and
  scientists new to the surface x-ray and neutron scattering techniques cov
 ered by the SXNS16 conference.\n\nThe workshop will include a series of in
 troductory lectures providing a technical grounding in key surface scatter
 ing techniques: reflectometry\, grazing incidence small angle scattering 
 and surface diffraction.\n\nSpeakers\nPeter Müller-Buschbaum (TUM\, Germa
 ny)\nRobert Feidenhans’l (XFEL\, Germany)\nKa Yee Lee (University of Chi
 cago\, USA)\nFrancesco Carla (Diamond Light Source\, UK)\n\nWhen: Monday\,
  June 22\, 10.00 - 16.00\nWhere: LINXS\, 5th floor\, Ideon Delta 5\, Schee
 levägen 19\, Lund\nCost: the workshop is free of charge but is limited to
  max 30 people.\n\nRegistration is separate from the main conference and 
 numbers will be limited to 50. The deadline is May 31. Preference will be 
 given to students and to attendees of SXNS16\, but the event is open to al
