DESCRIPTION:\n\n \n\nDuring the round table discussions at the LINXS work
 shop on the “Dynamics of Biological Macromolecules” in June 2018\, the
  characterization and understanding of the static and dynamic properties o
 f antibody solutions received particular attention. It clearly emerged as 
 one of the highly timely topics where LINXS could and should play a centra
 l role and help the community to overcome certain obstacles such as access
  to sufficiently large quantities of high-quality material.\n\nThe Researc
 h Programme “Antibodies in Solution” has now secured sufficient quanti
 ties of several monoclonal antibodies and brings together experimentalists
 \, theoreticians and simulators from all over the world to work on the cha
 racterization of these antibodies in a coherent\, efficient and synergisti
 c way. The main emphasis is the creation of a reference set of data for se
 veral mAbs that can then be used to validate theoretical models and simula
 tions on different levels of coarse graining. \n\nThis kick-off meeting br
 ings together the different experimental and theoretical working groups to
  get to know each other and to discuss the best possible ways to launch ou
