DESCRIPTION:\n\nSCOPE\n\n"The Bilayers at ILL or BILL” has been a forum
  to gather scientist working with model membranes to meet and discuss sci
 entific challenges\, where the latest one at ILL 11-13 December 2019. Thi
 s meet has attracted 150-200 scientist in the field of biomembrane biophys
 ics. Now we are planning for the next to take place in Lund\, the site of
  ESS and Max IV on the 13-15 June 2022. Suitably we will call the meet
 ing Bilayers at ESS – BESS. This is all in the spirit of the close colla
 boration between ILL and ESS. The aim of the workshop is to bring together
  researchers working with on the physico-chemical characterization of li
 pid bilayers by means of experimental (including scattering and direct s
 pace techniques) and  theoretical approaches.\n\nWhere: Scandic Star Hot
