DESCRIPTION:\n\n \n\nWelcome to an Image Analysis Hackathon with the Stru
 cture of Food During Processing working group\, within the Northern Lights
  on Food theme.\n\nThe focus will be on "Machine learning to segment\, lab
 el and quantify tomography image data”\n\nWHEN: March 8\, 2023 09:00 
 \n\nWHERE: at LINXS (Scheelvägen 19\, Lund)\, 5:th floor\n\nOutline\n\nS
 cientists with 3D data challenges will meet and work with experts in image
  visualisation\, image quantification and machine learning to work togethe
 r to visualise\, quantify and interpret the scientific content in their 3
 D images. The Hackathon will start with tutorials on machine learning in 3
 D image analysis before focussed work in small group bringing together dat
 a owners and image analysis experts. In addition to identifying solutions 
 and analysis approaches\, establishing continuing collaborations is a usua
 l outcome after 2 days of sitting working closely together.\n\nTarget audi
 ence\n\nScientists working with x-ray or neutron imaging who would like to
  learn more about 3D image analysis and/or would like help with image anal
 ysis challenges to extract details from their 3D data. The hackathon is in
  the context of the Northern Lights on Food Theme at LINXS and so there is
  a focus towards food science related applications\, but we welcome resea
 rchers from other fields also\, subject to space \n\nPre-requisites\n\nEa
 ch scientist (data owner) participant should come with their own 3D x-ray 
 or neutron tomography data to analyse during the hackathon. To help us pre
 pare and also\, in the event of over-subscription\, to select participants
 \, please provide a short description of the data and the scientific quest
 ions that you are trying to answer with the data (what would you like to e
 xtract from the images).\n\n - 1 page including an image illustrating the
